Oskar Schindler
Born on April 20th, 1908 in Czechslyvokia, Oskar Schindler grew up privileged and well-mannered. When Schindler moved to Germany in late 1929, he has high hopes for making it big and earning a large amount of money. As the Jews were being rounded up and sent to work, Schindler and his many failed businesses saw this as an opportunity. He befriended many S.S officers in hopes of using Jews to make his business plans come to life: making pots and pans for officers--an important necessity--and get large funds by doing so and not having to pay his Jews.
Eight months later and Schindler's company is booming. Large amounts of money are flowing rapidly into Schindler's business.
One year after the start of Schindler's business, and his views begin to shift. Once thinking of his Jews as workers, he begins to realize the sheer brutality the Jews are forced to endure.
By the spring of 1945, a list is made. This list contains all the Jews that Schindler has employed. Disguising the list as workers, he stealthily moves the group of people from their concentration camp to Schindler's factory where they would remain until the war ended.
As the war ends, and all Jews are liberated, all of the Schindler-Jews--1,200 Jews--survive--due to Schindler. From 1945 to 1952, Schindler is pinned as a war criminal until the Jewish Council names him a Savior.
